What is islam?

I realized that not everyone is muslim and not everyone has the full understanding of the religion really is. Between the TV stereotypes and the misleading news reports islam is often related to terrorist which is not the case whats so ever !

How many grains are in a cup of rice?

Have you ever wondered how many grains were infront of you everytime lunch was served? I remember when I was a kid I try to eat rice one grain at a time eventually i would get fed up and just dig in. So how many grains are in a cup of rice?? 

About 6000 to 7000 grains of rice !

Hello

Last Ramadan I looked for something to spend my time doing that was fun and helpful, after hours of aimlessly browsing the web I came across a website called freerice.com . Free Rice is a non-profit website that is owned and supports the United Nations World Food programme.  I always felt sympathetic to people who were less fortunate. I asked myself instead of just sitting there feeling bad why can’t I do something about it? 

That’s when I came up with the mission to gain a MILLION grains of rice by next Ramadan.

Crazy right?
